Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021

Happy NSALE MONTH! This is the 3rd time I’ve fully covered the NSALE on my blog (I started my blog shortly after the sale in 2018) and I have to say that this is one of my favorite things to cover. I’ll be adding content to this page and organizing it more and more, so feel free to bookmark this page for the duration of this sale!

I haven’t shared on instagram yet, BUT Miguel and I will be heading to Hawaii on Saturday- surprised? Yeah, so are we! We were supposed to be taking a 2-week European vacation but the quarantine and different testing requirements kind of overwhelmed us. I had initially intended on heading to SA for the start of the sale, but I don’t get access until the 16th and we leave early morning on the 17th. It doesn’t look like I’ll be able to cover much until the 23 when we get back! Hope that’s not too disappointing for y’all- there will be plentyof Hawaii content as well!

Sale Dates

If you haven’t shopped the Nsale before (check out these posts, I may have explained better in other years) this sale is a “reverse sale.” Instead of putting soon-to-be out-of-season items on sale, NEW items are being put on sale in preparation for fall. Every year, I feel silly buying booties for fall in 100 degree weather. Whenever the  first cold front rolls in, though, I am prepared!

This sale also opens in tiers. To shop early, you have to be a credit card holder. Depending on how much you spend in a year, you receive earlier access to the sale.  Ya girl is at the “influencer” level and I’ll receive access on the 16th! I can’t wait! Everyone will be able to shop on the 28th and I will be sharing my try-on haul on you tube with y’all by then! You LOVED LOVED LOVED last years. Please watch to get an idea of what this sale includes.

On My Wish List

I’m in limbo when it comes to purchasing clothing right now, being pregnant! I’ll be sharing the rest of my maternity pics sometime this week, but here is my announcement on instagram for those of you who only follow the blog! Unfortunately, I’ve been very much into the jeans selection! I think I’ll be buying one pair in a size up to use with a baby band thing (can you tell I have not explored my options?) and for postpartum.

The first things I’m going to share are the items on my personal wish list! The things that are going into my shopping cart…maybe! Once I run my numbers (and review what’s in stock) these items may change.  I always try to prioritize items that I will use more (accessories) v. pieces that aren’t going to stand the test of time.

One more thing, I say I “run my numbers” because my biggest reminder for everyone is that YOU DO NOT need to buy things JUST BECAUSE they’re on sale. I LOVE a SALE. SALES are a great time to try things you’ve been wanting to try- but I have a budget. I’m not going to ALLOW myself to spend more than that budget. If I do, It’s going to affect my budget for the upcoming months. Don’t go broke trying to keep up with the Joneses. This is is why the last section of this blog- “my favorites” is where you should maybe look first if you’re looking to INVEST in something or treat yourself to something that has stood the test of time (for me anyway, haha!)

My Wish List

Tops:Y’all have asked me consistently for work tops. I think I find that hard because some of the blouses are in the $40-60 range, which isn’t what I’m about UNLESS it’s show stopping! I’ll share my picks later. My pics for now are all tees! The Rounded V neck from Caslon is a must-have basic. I bought two last year and love how easily they work with my wardrobe.

Dresses & Bottoms: What a year for me to fall in love with DENIM. I didn’t intend to buy any bottoms this year because SOMEONE will only be growing in the coming months! There are just such good options. My Blank NYC distressed denim was my surprise favorite last year and this year’s pair are JUST AS GOOD. Yes, I’m going to buy them. Yes, I know it doesn’t make sense. I am also wanting to try the Spanx Faux Leather Joggers! I also loved these two dresses because they’re an appropriate length for work and will probably be bump friendly!

Shoes & Accessories: This is probably my longest category. I have a problem. I just bought another pair of shoes today, but that’s okay. I totally thought the peep toe booties were done, but I’m loving this pair. I also think these white and pearl booties are going to be such a fun addition to my closet!

Lounge (Cozies) : I need absolutely nothing in this category, but I do want to treat myself to some nice jammies for delivery and postpartum. Just thinking ahead, ya know?

Oldies, but Goodies

This section includes things I have purchased previously during the sale, outside of the sale, or from other stores. These are all things I LOVE and have shared before and without question- I recommend.

PHEWWWW! What a post! I’m actually very excited to start shopping this sale. Fall is probably my least favorite season, but I do love it. Surprisingly, I didn’t find many sweaters during my first comb through of the sale. I think more items have been added as the sale has progressed though, so stay tuned for updates! Will you be shopping the sale this year? What are you looking for?

Love & Sale Prices,
