NSale Try-On Haul and Collages

Good morning, my friends! I hope your weekend went so well, and I am so thankful that y’all forgave me for not posting this on Friday! Miguel and I had a great weekend at the beach and even though he went back to work today, it was a nice little getaway! We fished, sat like beach bums in the sand, swam in the SERIOUSLY clear ocean water and Miguel’s got to eat at Pier 19 for the first time! He got the Mahi Mahi Po’Boy and it was AMAZING! I highly recommend you try it if you’re on the island!

I am so excited for today’s post because it’s actually a really information-heavy one! I filmed a try-on haul of all of my NSale finds yesterday and will be posting it up on stories later today! If you’re an early riser/subscriber then you will get a first hand look and review of the items I picked! At the end of this post, I will also be sharing all of the collages I made for the NSale. I am very please to inform you that the ‘best of booties’ collage is fully stocked for the most part!

Onto the outfits! I have a total of 5 outfits that I put together with my NSale pieces. This was the second time that I tried on these pieces and my opinions changed the second time around. I’ll get to that right now!

I felt SO SO good in this cardi! This was the piece I was totally bummed about. I ordered a Large because I wanted it to be long enough to be a sweater dress, but it felt a little baggy when it got here. Luckily, this belt fixed that! This cardigan is definitely meant for colder weather! If you’re looking for something that’s a little more season friendly then I’d maybe swerve away from this one. I’m excited to wear this cardigan for dates in the winter!

For this look, I added the knotted belt slacks to my black camisole and the yellow wedged(?) heels. The longer that I had these slacks on, the more I really liked them. However, I will be returning them because they aren’t really what I need for my work environment. For my curvy girls, these were very kind to my hips. They were still pretty skinny from the bottom and didn’t flare out too much IMO.

I KNOW that I did not NEED this sweater because it is definitely a cold weather sweater and those days come around like 5 times every year, BUT I loved the color of this sweater and the button detail going down the side. Also, are you going to judge me if I wear it during EVERY cold front? I don’t think so. It’s gorgeous!

This pic has THREE new pieces, so this section may be a little lengthy, but I’m not sorry! I told y’all that I FINALLY took the plunge and bought the Spanx leather leggings (which are SOLD OUT, BUT are price matched, here). They did not disappoint! I love the way they look and they have that “Spanx Effect” (which I show in my videos), without being (almost) painful and mean to put on and keep on. I will be wearing these as soon as possible. Date Night? I’m probably going to wear them. Slight breeze? Got my Spanx leggings! I’m so ready to style these up.

The last item I added for this outfit is the Gretta Sandal from BP. I think I’ve mentioned before the BP is one of Nordstrom’s brands, so they always provide great deals on their items. Last year, I didn’t get the BP sandal (it was gorgeous and I have regrets), so this year I went for the gold and got this in yellow and nude! Oops. The heel on these is SO thick and because the strap goes up so high, my foot feels secure and feel like these will be great for work.

I apologize for my dirty mirror. It ALWAYS sneaks up on me and rears its ugly head when I decided to put on an all-black look. Ugh. Rookie mistake. Anyway, the new item in this pic is the black top. I wouldn’t say it is a crop top, but for this long torso chicky, it’s a little short. Now, I’m on the fence about this. I wanted to return it, but it’s only $10. So, eh. Idk, I’m going to need your help for this one! What do you think?

THIS. IS. MY. FAVORITE. TOP. of the sale. Hands down. I was hesitant to get the sleeveless top, but I am not disappointed. The peplum is so cute and because it’s a zipper top, it will never lose its shape. I will probably be wearing this on my first day back to work. HAHA. I never grew out of the first day of school outfits! I feel like it’s a great way to kick off the new year!

So, that is the end of my try-on haul! Maybe this should’ve been two posts, but I’ve been posting the collages on my stories and I’m not sure if everyone understands that they are shoppable! I’m going to go ahead and put them here and will talk about my favorites from each! If y’all like this, let me know!

NSale Favorites: So, obviously, the things I actually ordered were my favorites from this bunch. I only regret not buying the Tom Ford Perfume. I love that scent and didn’t go for it even though $150 is the price of the perfume alone. It’ll be something I definitely save up for next year!

Favorites UNDER $50: This collage was FUN to do! It was tempting to me because $50 is my “pump the brakes” price point, (If something is over 50, I really make sure that it’s an investment and not a thoughtless splurge.) so I found my self adding a few things to cart when I shouldn’t have been, oops! To pick my favorites from this section is HARD because there are so many great deals. The Kendra Scott necklace can be worn every single day and is a classic around $30; the Rainbow long sleeve from last year was something I wore time and time again; and my favorite bra and spanx underwear (these are awesome under dresses!) are at a great price, so now is a good time to stock up! I love the faux leather turtleneck, the jeans under 40, and the Something Navy Pink Sweater. I can’t say anymore because I’ll be convincing myself to buy more pieces! Haha!

Work Favorites: I love every piece in this collage. I would purchase every piece in this collage, but I think the stand out for me is this purple long-sleeve top. I think it would be so fun with those black slacks/leggings and the hoops from my original favorites post. Slick pony? Yes. It’s working.

Best of Boots and Booties: I have already secured the Gigietta Boot and I cannot wait to get them in! My other stand outs from this collage are the Marc Fisher Booties (I so want, but can’t afford the price tag right now) and the Sam Edelman Knee High Boot, I feel like these would be great to wear in the winter with sweater dresses and over jeans since I feel like OTK boots are a little overwhelming to wear on a daily basis.
