Fourth Of July Outfit Inspo

Hello Lovelies! Can you believe that July is already here?! June was so long, but so short at the same time! The beginning of July also means it’s time to celebrate! I love celebrating Independence Day by heading to the Island for a barbecue with my family! My Dad is so kind to share his trailer with us during the summer time (he usually uses it at a fishing spot), so we can stay at the beach overnight. We’re so lucky to have a place to stay at the island during this uncertain time, but even so I’m still unsure of how we’re going to be celebrate the holiday this year. I usually buy two outfits: a swimsuit and an after beach day top or dress. Since everyone celebrates a little differently, I decided to pull some Fourth of July outfit inspo for y’all! There’s still time to order, and most of this stuff can be ordered and picked-up in store! My FAVORITE way to shop lately!IMG_2027

Dressier Tops

I LOVE that red eyelet top from Target and I’ve been convincing myself that I don’t need it for a while now! I would buy for the Fourth, but we typically don’t do a nice dress up look for the occasion.

Comfy Tops

Now, THIS is my 4th of July vibe! It’s so nice to put on a pair of comfy shorts with a tee after a long day at the beach. If we don’t spend time in the water, I also like to wear something light that won’t be too hot in our Texas heat. This is my pick for this year!

Dresses

It’s pretty rare that I don’t spend a little time in the sand on the 4th, but if I’m 100% sure that I’ll be in a backyard, I do entertain the idea of a pretty dress! A simple cloth version is also great after a day at the pool!

Swimmies

I WAITED ALL SUMMER TO BUY THIS SUIT! I almost bought this suit, but decided to go with a different cut than what I normally get. I also think that the two piece is soo cool! Especially the top! IMG_2063

Shop the post

True story: these were the photos for my “birthday wish list” blog post or” 29 things about me,” but I was in way too much of a funk to put something together. Either way, if I were a backyard BBQ fourth of July gal, I’d go with a crisp white dress for my look. Mine is sold out, but I linked several similar for y’all. Also, I just added these shoes to my closet to replace some other sandals, and hadn’t shared them with y’all! P.S., they’re on SALE! These are the updated versions of the ones I’m wearing.

Writing this post reminded me that I need to get in gear with my planning for the Fourth. I actually thought it was on Thursday instead of Saturday, so that indicates where my head is lately! What are your plans for the fourth! It’s your turn to give me some inspo! Happy Monday, loves!
