Kendra Scott Summer Collection: Splurge of the Month

Hello lovelies! I am so excited for today’s post because I am getting to share two NEW pieces from the Kendra Scott Summer Collection! Even if you’ve been following my for a short time, you know that I LOVE basically everything that Kendra Scott designs.

The Kendra Scott Summer Collection has always held a special place in my heart. It has almost everything to do with Kendra’s FABULOUS birthday discount (50% off any one item!). Jokes aside, the summer collection is always so much fun and beautiful that I’m unable to resist picking a few things. When I was invited to the preview of Kendra Scott’s Summer Collection a week ago, I made quick plans to shop! I picked up two things and can’t wait to share them with you!

I’ll be calling this post my splurge of the month, since I treated myself to two full-price pieces of jewelry (so rare for me)!The first item I chose were these gorgeous earrings!

I’m still not over the fact that I lost favorite Kendra Scott earrings a year ago after our honeymoon. I have been waiting for the perfect earring to replace those and these fit the bill.

I still consider the Danielle’s to be the most classic and identifiable piece of Kendra Scott jewelry. These earrings caught my eye instantly and never left my mind after. The summer collection features has this  piece in hot pink (caught a peek and it’s gorgeous, but was unavailable for preview. sad times.) and the abalone (which is Kendra’s most popular shell in my opinion).  Of course, there were some more simple shapes that were similar to the classic styles, but had a special edge. The smaller, full metal version of the earrings I’m wearing is SO edgy and would be a fun way to spice up a sweet outfit! The piece I’m going to go for next (maybe, I can’t decide!) is the adjustable necklace in full gold. I love the adjustable necklaces I have now and can only imagine the possibilities with another addition!

The second thing I purchased was something quite out of the ordinary for me.  The Kendra Scott Summer Collection has released 3 different sizes of travel cases for jewelry! Totally appropriate for all of the fun traveling we should all be doing during the summer time!   I typically purchase all of my jewelry containers from Amazon or at Home Goods, but this case was so well-made and so well-sized, I thought I would treat myself to it.

I opted for the largest size because I have a tendency to overpack my clothes, my shoes, and my jewelry.  Haha. No matter how hard I try I ALWAYS overpack. but I always have a fear that my beloved jewelry will be broken in transit.

On our trip to Seattle, I wanted so badly to take my wedding earrings
(the ones in the bottom left corner) to wear on our anniversary. I feared they would be jostled around or broken if I put them in a jewelry bag, so they didn’t make the trip. With so many fun trips planned for the summer, I KNOW I’ll now be able to organize my jewelry however I need to and can feel confident that it will be safe in the traveling case!

Also, I think I could totally store some other travel goodies (chargers, air pod cases, etc.) in here! 

The medium and large travel cases also come with a pouch.  Each pouch has pockets in it for separating necklaces, which will help in avoiding the world’s biggest necklace knots!  For a month, I only had one necklace to wear because of a travel knot. yikes.  The large pouch has four separate pockets and the medium has two. Being that I usually wear two necklaces at a time, I need all of the storage I can get!

Since I’m writing this post before the actual launch of the summer collection, I am unable to link to any of the new items, but I will update this post as they become available! For the time being, I will be sharing my favorite pieces of Kendra Scott Jewelry with y’all in the carousel below!
