Trend I’m Loving: Tulip-Hemmed Jeans

Good morning, lovelies! If this is your first day back to work post-MLK weekend, welcome back! If not, Happy not-Monday, haha! I’m coming back from a fabulous weekend in Ruidoso, New Mexico with my husband and his family! I was the only girl on the trip, which made things interesting, to say the least! Traveling with the guys definitely makes me more daring than I would be on my own, so that’s a definite PLUS!IMG_2515.jpg

Back to business! The business of sifting through different fashion trends and picking my favorites for y’all! Todays trend? Tulip-hemmed jeans. The hem of your jeans really can change an outfit. Wearing jeans that are too long can make you look frumpy rather than chic and clean cut.  Now, those words may not be words to define your personal style, but I’ve found that wearing jeans with a styled hem (cropped, flared, (cropped & flared), small rolls/cuffs, or TULIP-HEMMED!) can make any outfit a special one.

What I love about the tulip hem is that it looks good with a flat shoe and heels. I paired it with my favorite Marc Fisher peep-toe bootiesI love how the peek-a-boo ankle really elongates my leg and the tulip hem draws even more attention to the area!

I love a good white-shirt-blue-jean moment.  I’m all about keeping classic pieces in my closet and nothing is more classic than a look like this! This look will transition well between seasons, and can easily be dressed up or down! I shared some of my favorite white blouses and tulip-hemmed jeans in the widgets below!
