There are just some old favorites that you can never get tired of. I am constantly pairing olive green with navy blue. I don’t know why, but I feel like the colors just complement each other so well. I decided on this outfit by accident, and it was so good I told Miguel to grab the camera as we headed out for a quick date night!
Outfit Details:
.Green Jumper. Shoes (Similar). Shoes (also, similar). Shirt (Similar). Earrings.
I bought this jumper a few weeks ago when my best friend, Andrea, and I decided to explore Target for some things we needed (and didn’t need, apparently). Originally, I envisioned myself wearing this with the pink striped shirt I wore last Thursday and am washing today, oops. So, I grabbed the jumper and held it against the different blouses in my closet about 5 times and finally stopped in the section that held ALL of my beloved navy blue striped blouses. I have a thing for them, so they are plentiful. Overall, I think I enjoy a crisp and classic feel to my outfits and what is more classic than a navy blue striped top?
Once I put the outfit together, I was sold.
Don’t you just love that moment? When all of you’re “I have a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear” problems are solved?
This jumper just has all the best details. It’s belted (great for accentuating curves), is similar to overalls and culottes (for my trendy friends), and IT HAS POCKETS! I always struggle with a smaller purse, especially at the movies (where am I supposed to put my water bottle and nacho cheese?), but these were great for holding all of my movie-watching necessities and so much comfier than jeans.
So, I mixed a little classic with a little trendy and got the most comfortable date night outfit. I ate all the popcorn at the movies and then ate all the pizza at our favorite pizza spot, Mama Mia’s and had room for more! Cancun, where you at?! All jokes aside, it was a great day with a great outfit and I am almost ready to start the week. I will never be ready, but “almost” is closer than “not.” Did y’all do anything fun over the weekend? Or, did you fall in love with any items in your closet? Let me know in the comments below! Have a great Monday guys! It’s “almost” the weekend again!
Such a fun versatile piece that you can easily transition into warmer weather, too!
