Face Fix Friday: Reviewing the Bliss Mighty Minis

I love a good series, in case you haven’t noticed (Mini Blogs, Splurge of the Months, etc.), which is why I thought I ‘d start another one! If you follow me on instagram, you know that I have a big thing for skincare products and a liking for foundations/cc creams that pull multiple duties.  I hope to share lots of helpful tips for everything from brushes to breakouts! As always, I ask that you share anything you want to see in the comments below or on my instagram comments! Now, let’s get started!alyandthevalley_BlissMightyMinis11.jpg

Bliss re-launched its entire line back in March and while I had never tried the line before the re-launch, I had always admired the products! When I saw this mini set at Target I scooped it up to test a few of the products and share my review for y’all!

  1. Make-up Melt Jelly Cleanser – This was the first item I tried in the kit. It was very light and you could tell it was water based (a must for my friends who are oily!). I personally like the feel of an oil-based cleanser, but this one did just great when I paired it with my Tula cleanser. If you’re looking to initiate a double cleansing routine, I highly recommend trying this one since it’s $9! Such a good deal for 6.4 fl oz.

  3. Drench & Quench Moisturizer– Another water based product that I am so excited to re-purchase! I loved using this at night because it was so refreshing, but the real test was when I used it under my make-up.  I loved how refreshing it was and it didn’t affect how my make-up went on at all. I’ll definitely be using once it gets hotter! This one is priced sweetly at $18.

  5. That’s Incredi-Peel Glycolic Resurfacing Pads– I am SO EXCITED that this kit came with 5 packages of these! I used them for the first time last night and I noticed a difference after one use! I’ve been dealing with break outs lately and after using this, my make-up went on so smoothly this morning.  I’m feeling that these are similar to the Dr. Dennis Gross Peel Pads that I’ve been lusting after! However, these are definitely more budget friendly at $19.99!

  7. Eye Got This Holographic Foil Eye Masks– I love a good eye mask. You love a good eye mask. Who doesn’t love a good eye mask?! This one was absolutely darling because they have foil cut outs of stars! So insta worthy, haha! I also love that these are sold for $4 in individual packs that you can buy for a girls’ night or for travel. Convenience is key.

  9. What-a-Melon De-Stressing Overnight Mask – O.M.G. Y’all know my love for the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask and while I don’t mind the price point of this one too much, I MUCH rather pay this affordable price of $12.99!   I honestly could not tell the difference between these two! The biggest difference I noticed was that the Watermelon Glow mask peels. My skin was glowing every morning after I used this.  I use this when I’m too lazy to do a whole night time skincare routine.

I could not believe that this kit came with minis of so many items for only $9.99! I’m not 100% sure if Target has these anymore, but if they do SCOOP one up quick! I think this would be an awesome gift for young girls who are beginning to explore skin care or maybe a congratulatory gift for a high school or college grad! I definitely want to pick one up for my gift closet! Another idea I had was to put some (or all!) of these items in a gift bag to your bridesmaids! So cute and an excellent part to any wedding hangover kit, haha! The value of this kit is truly incredible because you get to try so many different items!

Another fun detail about this line is that it is cruelty free.  I don’t use cruelty free products exclusively, but I do admire when a company is.  Someone has to be the change that we want to see in the world!

Bottom line: I will be re-purchasing several of the full-size versions of these products and even some that I didn’t get to try! That’s the benefit of these mini sets!

  2. I love the idea of this mini kit that allows you to test out so many of the products before purchasing full-size. I’ll have to get one for myself. I’ve been meaning to try some new skincare products lately!
