Thank you so much to Rico’s for sponsoring the products in this post.
Happy Friday, friends! This week was 1000x times more productive than the past few weeks. I got so many things for my home, for the blog, and for myself done and feel so much more at peace physically and mentally. Definitely more relaxed than I felt in all of June, which I’m thankful for. I talked a lot about heading to the beach in my last post (check it out for 4th of July outfit Inspo!), unfortunately, like I thought, heading out to the Island just wasn’t in the cards for my husband and I this year. It’s totally cool though because I think my city is having a fireworks show, which I can’t wait to enjoy! I know it’ll be great because I’ll also be celebrating Fourth of July with Rico’s snacks! I made a quick party tray to give y’all some yummy food inspo for the fourth!
This will probably be a short post with a lot of pictures because- it really is so easy! Something that you have to know about me, if you already don’t, is: I don’t like to struggle. Hosting can be overwhelming on its own, so when I entertain I keep things as simple as possible.
I started with this serving platter (similar, for less) that we got as a wedding gift and have used a million times in two years! it seriously helps me fulfill my “life goals”. After pulling this out, I put the gourmet nacho cheese into the center dish and heated it up for 2 minutes (you’re more than welcome to put it on the stove, but like I said, “I keep it simple”- maybe add some milk to make it a little less thick. I love it as is!). While that was heating up I started adding the original nacho chips to two of the outside trays (because who doesn’t love an original). After that I added two different popcorn flavors to the remaining two trays! I chose cheddar and butter because I’m a fan of the classics, obvi! I heard the Rico’s Hatch Popcorn Is also V yummy. By the time you’re done with the chips and popcorn your cheese should be done! That’s it!

Y’all this eyelet lace top is what my dreams are made of. I will probably be wearing it all summer. Don’t judge me. And remember when I said I wasn’t into pearl headbands…well I have to retract that statement. I think my non-layered hair is helping this situation.
I hope y’all are feeling a little inspired for your fourth of July celebrations! I think this platter would be great for a girl’s night or a movie night! I’d definitely add some pickles in that case! What are y’all’s plans for the fourth? LMK in the comments below! Have a great weekend, y’all!
