Back To School Supplies

Back to school is a lot of people’s favorite time of year. For me, there’s kind of a “new year” thrill. I was so excited on my first day of work, I made sure to have my friends remind me of this happiness when things start to get tough! I also personally think almost everyone loves school supplies. There’s just something exciting about trying out the new things that the stores have! I’m sharing my old favorites and new favorites for you to check out here! Last year’s clear winners were the Frixion Pens from Pilot. The year before: The Happy Planner (which is $15 right now and I could die!). If you don’t have some sort of planner (I have 2 planners and 2 calendars), you’re missing out on fun AND major organizational assistance.

There was also a bunch of new items that I got from Amazon, including THE BACKPACK. My sister got a backpack like this when we went back for the last six weeks of last school year. She LOVED it and raved about it! I stumbled across it in YELLOW and PINK and knew I needed to buy one. There are two sizes and I got the smaller one and think it’s the perfect size! Because it’s squared on top, you’re able to stack items on top of shorter items! The backpack will stand up if you sit it on the ground. I still haven’t played with the charging cord, but even without it- I LOVE this backpack! I also got some fun folders

The last thing I want to formally share on my blog are some of my favorite speech therapy items and websites! Learning Resources is on A KICK! Right now and makes some of the coolest toys. If you’re a mommy and wanting to encourage some language from your baby or kiddo- any one of these sets I link will help with that! I love the picnic baskets and the gift boxes give opportunities to request “help” to “open,” aka KEY WORDS for a child! Must-haves!

I also got the idea for these binder inserts from The Type B SLP, who is my FAVORITE Speechie on teachers pay teachers! She also has a blog, which I linked! She explains things in a way that is easy to understand (with some speechie lingo) and has a HUGE interest in making things accessible. If you’re a new SLP or SPED teacher I recommend all of her freebies (my kids love the physical and virtual schedule).

There are a ton of things that I buy throughout the year, but I think this is the perfect little hub for those of y’all looking for the things I love. You can also always shop my amazon shop to see what I’m currently into! Hope your Monday was fabulous!

Love & Back to School
