My Christmas Wish List 2020

A part of me feels like I am late to the game when it comes to making gift guides. As much as I love Christmas I really want to soak up and enjoy as many holidays as I can! They´re the best part of this whole year!! A few blogger gal pals and I wanted to give you one last dose of Thanksgiving outfit inspo and I felt it fitting to transition from Thanksgiving to Christmas with a few posts that share both! As the cherry on top of this post, I’ll be telling you what’s on my list this year!

On stories a few days ago, I shared that my husband and I will be taking a trip in the coming month (sooner than I thought, honestly!), so I’ve been a bit pre-occupied these past couple of days and making sure that I have all of the gear I need-we’re going somewhere snowy and I’m so excited and a little nervous, of course! I have been so pre-occupied that I did not have the right mindset to put together a Christmas wish list. Truth be told, I don’t really need anything, which is how I put together my wish list! I feel like those gifts are the ones that we are most grateful for. I’ve said it before, “the best gift you can give someone is something they wouldn’t have gotten themselves.” There are a few things that I “want” though, so I put them all together in a list!

Vince Camuto Boots– These are the boots that got away this Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Under normal circumstances I wouldn’t have hesitated to get them, but since we’re going to very few places, I let this baby slide right out of my cart. I love that these are kind of slouchy and fall below the knee!

HP Sprocket Photo Printer– I have wanted this little printer for a MINUTE! Funnily, I purchased a full size photo printer before I purchased this one. I’ve been using that one for my planner and just ordered some frames that I will print photos on! I want these tiny little photo stickers to add a personal touch to my planner AND to maybe print a photo of the day in a journal. I was keeping a digital one for a while and it was really nice, but y’all know how I feel about pen and paper! This also brings up the need for a nice notebook…hmmm!

Jelly Comb External Keyboard – A few months ago, I talked about how much I loved this tiny keyboard for my iPad mini and phone. I still do love it and will be taking it with my on my next trip, but I kind of would like something a little more sturdy when I’m working from home. This one allows for me to toggle between devices with a push of a button. The reviews on this one are similar, but there’s a complaint about the battery door falling off. If you’re looking for a more budget friendly version, I’d give that one a shot. Come christmas time- $10 makes a difference!

Workout Top– Y’all know my love for at old Lululemon Swiftly Top! However, i cannot justify that price tag unless it’s a special occasion- or on sale! I found this top from CRZ yoga in the crew neck version in September and gifted it to my mom! It is almost exactly the same except for the design on the front.  I want to try this cut out tank, and I LOVE getting work out gear before the new year because: new year, new me!

Lululemon Yoga Mat: I don’t want to go generic on this one though! I already have a great Gaiam mat that I use for my bootcamp classes, but that has led to it getting dirtier than a normal yoga mat. Since some poses call for a forehead to the ground and I am prone to breakouts I could use two separate mats. The reason why I rather not buy the look for less: I have a bad back and a tailbone injury. This almost-30-year-old needs to start looking out for herself!

Recipe Binder: I’ve wanted something similar to this for years now! The reason why I want this one is because the recipe pages are printable! The seller also makes gorgeous dividers to go with it. It’s important to me to pass on family favorite recipes. I love my cookbooks so much, but the stand outs belong in something I can share with my children and family members!

Slippers: Quite frankly, you can never have enough slippers. This is one of those things that I have never bought for myself! I’m a size 6.5, if anyone’s wondering!!

Pink Boots: SEVERAL (and I MEAN SEVERAL) of my friends and followers ALIKE have sent me these booties. Why, you may ask? Maybe because they’re the cutest little booties and would be worn almost every cold day of my little Aly and the Valley LIFE! I mean…that’s what I’m thinking.

Krystle and Julie and I are back at it again sharing one dress styled three different ways on women that are three different sizes! This fun and feminine dress was a target find and comes in three colors. I decided to try the exposed collar trend (it was my favorite in middle school!). The cinched waist plays up the feminine touches of this dress, while the combat boots give a good contrast. Which style is your favorite?

I hope y’all enjoyed my little Christmas Wish List! I also hope y’all enjoyed it and got some inspo for yourselves and a little outfit inspo along the way! What’s on your wish list?

Love & Jingle Bells,

Aly
