Happy Monday, friends! I hope you had a great and restful weekend! I cannot believe how quickly the weeks are flying by. We’re halfway through October! I’ve already been keeping my eyes peeled for Christmas gifts and a part of me is so proud and the other part thinks I’m crazy! Am I the only one with Christmas on the brain?! I’ve been so inspired to style up pieces I own in different ways. Y’all know I love my Spanx faux leather leggings and I’ve styled them up a few times. Check out the latest way below!
The Pieces
I usually steer more towards girly looks, but decided to go a little more masculine for this look. I have a fun surprise coming your way that features these combat boots that are under $20! I really wanted some white ones, but felt that the wine-colored ones would play well into my wardrobe also.
These camo faux leather leggings are also a new edition (a steal from when they were 50% off! eek!). I love wearing leggings as pants (sorry not sorry) and really wanted to pair the two for a look! Enter: this little “Rocker Chic” look.
I’ve been hesitant to buy a Rocker Tee because I am of the era of “posers” and have always been afraid of being called one, haha! Can anyone else relate? I know a lot of girls wear tees of bands they’ve never listened to, but I’m way too worried someone would call me out. Regardless, I love Queen. I don’t think you can be a drill team or drama alum without being a BIG FAN, so a Queen shirt is what I went with!
I put this whole look together and slung a denim jacket around my waist to perfect the look. I love how these leggings allow me look that I tried hard, but allow me to feel comfy. Not to mention give me confidence. Y’all, spanx don’t play. Even when I’m feeling a little bloated these keep my tummy in without rolling down. You can also wear your tee knotted up like I did with a good pair of high-wasted bottoms. If you haven’t added a pair of these to your wardrobe, I would definitely do so before the holidays when a baggy sweater and leggings is basically every day attire!
