I’ve been ready for the weekend since Tuesday! Isn’t it crazy how shorter weeks are sometimes the longest? My sister and sister-in-law have birthdays this weekend, so I’ve had a lot to look forward to this weekend! We also got hit with a TINY cool front, which gets me pumped for the fall season. I’ve been trying to build up my fall wardrobe piece by piece and I started with 1 fall dress and decided to style it up 3 different ways!
I’ve never met a t-shirt dress I didn’t want to wear every day of the week. I recently threw out my favorite one from banana republic because it had seen better days. Of course, this find from Target was an easy replacement since it was under $20! We love a budget find! We also love a versatile piece and I think the three looks below are pretty different and will suit whatever occasion you’re attending or temperature you’re working with!
The first look is very simple and I decided to give it a valley girl flare since y’all know that our idea of “cool weather” is anything below 90. Yikes. My favorite fall hat matches perfectly with these espadrille heels from Steve Madden and is perfect for our faux fall in the RGV.
I’ve been living in my barefoot dreams cardigan! I always have it draped around my office chair since that side of our house is colder. I’ve never been one to love oatmeal pieces, but I’m glad I gave this one a shot! My favorite booties EVER are a must-have for any fall look and the bootie trend is so convenient when you live in a place that only has two seasons: summer and summer-lite.
The last look is probably my favorite look…it’s also probably the least “fall” looking, but I can’t deny that summer is my season of choice! I’ve been wearing my GG sneakers WITH EVERYTHING! I think those shoes and this jacket are my favorite “I don’t need it, but I bought it anyway” purchases of this year! I should make a blog post all about those pieces, ha! Some are winners like those two and some…are waiting to be worn…oops!
The style inspo doesn’t stop here though friends! Head to my latest instagram post to get more fall casual looks from some of the cutest bloggers! If their clothes isn’t inspo enough, tons of them have the most gorgeous front porches! I feel like decorating mine ASAP after seeing these ladies! Do you decorate your front door for fall? Let me know (and share your ideas!) Happy Friday!
