This will probably be my last my last post about the nsale…maybe! There are just so many great things available in the sale, it is pretty easy to go overboard! I think I’ve gone WAY overboard, which you’ll see when I do my try-on haul! I’ve put it off because I haven’t gotten any shoes AND I think I’ve influenced y’all to buy enough. Once I get my stuff, I want to show you HOW I would wear things and highlight the pieces that have been good to me throughout the years. If there is particular item you want me to review, let me know I the comments! For now, I’ll be covering all of the bags and accessory pieces that are going to be perfect accents and/or neutrals to your closet! The important thing about accessories is that they, like I said earlier, have to accent your outfit or be the perfect neutral for EVERy outfit in your closet. Being that I love color, I use accessories for accenting my outfit. They make it pop! I do like daintier and pieces for louder outfits though! I got this purse (similar in red & black and striped cognac) because I’ve been wanting a nicer crossbody bag for a while now. The white croc is definitely a “pop” piece and the black and cognac versions are a little more neutral. The red would be great t for the holidays, Christmas, Valentine’s Day…I love! This is the one piece I said I was keeping from the sale REGARDLESS! I make a budget for myself every year and I’ve exceeded that budget, so I’ve gotta make cuts- this one is in the keep pile (especially because I’ve already used it, ha!) It’s more of a bone color, so I know it will be functional throughout all seasons as opposed to a stark white bag! If I didn’t have two great toes already, I’d probably pick up a Longchamp bag! I have a small one, and love that these are made for a girl on the go because they are so easy to wipe down…maybe I do need the Longchamp! Whatever you choose (or don’t choose) just be sure to get something you love and would pray full price for! That’s the secret to all sales actually.
Jewelry & Watches
When it came to jewelry, I got request for pieces that weren’t Kendra Scott and I was a little confused at first, but I totally understand now. I love me some Kendra (this whole set is GORGEOUS: necklace, earrings, bracelet), but I need some simpler pieces in the mix as well! this crescent necklace is one that I still have my eye on after many years. it’s a subtle statement piece that people will admire against even the simplest of looks. There is also a paperclip necklace in the mix and don’t even get me started on these classy watches. If you’ve known me for a LONG TIME (pre-blog), you know that I loved watches so much. I have an Apple Watch now and that kind of suppresses the need to fulfill that love, but I’d love to get a gorgeous Michelle Watch to wear on special occasions!
Sunglasses
Another one of my favorite accessories are sunglasses. This one is not a big secret since I’m usually sporting a pair in my pictures! There’s something about a big pair of shades that I love! Maybe because they make a messy bun feel glam? Anyway, if money were not option, I’d pick up this pair from Gucci. You get the round sunglasses look without feeling like you look a little goody. Is that just??
Jackets and Sweatshirts
Now, this was unexpected. There was a distinct category that I loved so much and kept linking and wanting to show y’all, and I never dedicated it to a specific post. maybe it fit in with my favorites post? Maybe with the basics? Regardless, you have to see these jackets/ I got my Moto jacket about two years ago and it is consistently one of my most worn pieces in the winter. If you haven’t yet, you need to invest in a good jacket for winter. It doesn’t have to be a full-on coat if you live in the valley, but it should last you longer than a year!
That’s all folks! Today is the first day of public access and probably one of the biggest days for restocks. Like I’ve said before, if there is something you want and it’s out of stock, don’t fret. it may not come back (total honesty), but I’ve done some stalking of pieces in my time and I usually end up with I wanted in the end. If I don’t then I probably didn’t need it in the first place.
