Yesterday was my first official day “back to work” from home. and it was a doozy. Luckily, I made a promise to myself to make the most of my day and started my morning with a workout and a yummy smoothie! Today I had a coconut cream smoothie and it is still one of my favorite flavors! Getting enough fruits and vegetables into your diet is important and it is very apparent when you do- if you want to glow, eat a vegetable! I’ve always been scared to incorporate veggies into smoothie because I’m scared I won’t like the taste, but these smoothies haven’t wronged me yet!
The only things you need to make these smoothie are your milk of choice (I’m an almond milk gal) and a blender! I have had my ninja since Christmas and love how big it is compared to my previous blender! I just purchased these glass smoothie straws because I only ever found smoothie straws, like the one I have here in these pics, in store and…I’m running out! I do love the stainless steel one that Revive sent me though because it kept everything in the straw nice and cold!
You can actually SEE the fruit and veggies when you open the seal on these cups. Y’all know I’ve made smoothie bags before and a big part of that was because I didn’t want extra sugar to be added to my smoothies, which can happen sometimes. I’m not concerned about their being anything other than fruit and veggies in my Revive smoothies since you can see everything that is listed on the ingredients list IN THE CUP! Clean ingredients only and a lot of the cup are gluten free.
A little secret that I’ll let y’all in on: I have added my personal protein to these smoothies before and it didn’t affect the taste at all! I usually do this when I have a smoothie in the middle of the day because I want a filling snack.
One of my favorite things about these little smoothie cups is that you can take them on the go with you! The cap actually has a hole for the straw (seriously, the coolest thing ever)! If I were leaving home for work, I would love this since I hate having dirty dishes at work. I feel rude if it’s smelling up my office all day or if I’m hogging the sink while I wash my dishes. Am I alone on this?!
