Hello Lovelies! I hope this Monday finds you seeking the best of the situation we are in and I am happy if that has brought you to alyandthevalley.com! I feel as someone with a (small) voice online, I am inclined to keep my feed as positive and as light as possible. I spoke about my personal struggles with quarantine, here, if you’re interested. I remember begging my mother to buy me JUST ONE A&F polo for middle school. There were never sales or deals and my mom was just not into that, and I thank her. I am much more savvy when it comes to shopping because of her. Lately, something has been going on online & in-store at A&F. I’ve been shopping their stuff more than I ever have in years. They’ve removed the moose from their more airy pieces, which was probably the best thing they could’ve done for those of us who aren’t big on being branded. RIGHT NOW you can get some great pieces up to 50% off AND get an additional 25% off your entire purchase.

Tops
Y’all know I’m a big fan of chambray tops and I have no doubt that Abercrombie’s will be a perfect fit. I also have my eye on that leopard sweater because it is CUH-UTE…it’s also CUH-UTE in grey. Lord, give my debit card strength!
Bottoms & Dresses
The white fluttery dress above would be so perfect for a casual summer/spring day. At this point, I’m looking for comfort over anything! I also picked up a pair of skinny jeans because I’m always looking for the best work-friendly pair. You should check out the distressed/curve versions and the mom jeansfor me (PLEASE!)!!
Shoes & Accessories
Did you have Abercrombie flip-flops in MS and HS? Because I didn’t (HA!), but that’s okay because those are MEH compared to these cutie shoes. I snagged the white slides because my white shoes NEED to be RETIRED. For $20, why not?!
Shop my Looks
Now, let’s talk about my look. I actually shot this look a while back with the intentions of making this exact post, but it just never got done. I’m glad I’m able to finally show it off to y’all! My exact bodysuit is not available, but similar versions that are more warm weather appropriate are! Lucky you! I am also so jealous that y’all get the opportunity to snag these Steve Madden wedges. I just don’t need them, but they’re playing games with my heart.
I spent $80 on this whole look! I know that may sound like a lot, but when you consider that I bought a WHOLE outfit- I’m NOT sorry! I will wear these jeans so much for work (from home, ha) and this top doubles as a cover up. Also, y’all already know about the shoesies. I will do a try-on haul for y’all as soon as it comes in!
