Happy Friday friends! No matter how the week before it was, a Friday is always the most anticipated day of the week. That’s why I decided to share a new series: Splurge of the Month!
Now, I know myself- I have an addiction- I love clothes, I love shoes, and retail is the only therapy I participate in that I don’t also provide! Ha! I am LIMITING myself to one meaningful splurge a month and sharing it with you all! This month’s pick: these Sam Edelman Leopard Booties.
Why leopard booties? Well, as far as I’m concerned leopard is a neutral. (So, is pink, but that’s a different story for a different post!) It complements any outfit you pair it with and makes it that much spicier. Who doesn’t need a little spice in their life?
I wore these to work (daring? Maybe.) and walked up and down the hallways of my campus comfortably. I also got compliments with every click and clack of my heel. A compliment never hurts, AND the noise my heels make GIVE ME LIFE!! Just me? It’s cool.

I bought my boots online (1/2 size up because room for socks!) from Nordstrom, but have also linked some similar, more affordable versions on here as well! If you don’t like the version I bought, I HIGHLY recommend INVESTING (yes, good shoes are an INVESTMENT!) in a pair of leopard booties this Fall (SIDEBAR: I was SO happy when the cold front blew in, and I was able to pop the tags off this jacket and sweater- total lifesavers!
