Wedding Anniversary

Who knew that I’d spend more time than ever with my husband during our 3rd year of marriage? We celebrated our second wedding anniversary casually with a day of local eats and treats. Spring break was a few days away and we were thinking of heading to San Antonio for a little staycation. A few days later, the world completely changed. Our European summer vacation? Put on hold. Any possible plans for our future? Put on hold. So many people found it so hard to spend SO MUCH time with the same people during quarantine. Me? I felt so lucky to be stuck with my favorite person. I have never shared our wedding photos because getting married completely overwhelmed me. Haha. I needed a break following the festivities. I meant to share these on the 1st and 2nd wedding anniversaries, but never did. So here they are now! Some of my favorite wedding photos. Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

Happy Tuesday! Say hello to Friday’s long lost post! Oops, I did it again. I meant to post this on Friday, but just didn’t have it in me to scrape it all together. I surveyed my friends about whether the give gifts to they’re male significant others for V-day and the majority of them said “no”. Goodies are always on my V-day shopping list for Miguel because I know he loves a good schnackie! Valentine’s Day Outfit Ideas

Happy Tuesday! Today on Aly and the Valley, I am so excited to give you some clothing inspiration for V-day! As much as I wanted to pull bright and beautiful dresses for y’all to wear in your living room…it just didn’t feel authentic for me. Even if my husband and I do head out for Valentine’s Day, I’m probably going to be wearing something cozy!
