My Favorite Christmas Cookie Recipe

There’s been a lot of talk about Christmas Cookies on my instagram stories lately. As much as I love eating cookies- I really LOVE baking and giving cookies to my family and friends. It’s a life goal of mine to have a specialty, and I think I’m getting pretty close with cookies. I have two recipes that are old favorites and one NEW one that was a MAJOR hit and I will probably use again next year! I know that I’m making these seem like Christmas recipes, but they can really be made all year. My chocolate chip cookie recipe pairs wonderfully with a good book and was one of the few things my grandpa would eat during our last days together, which made me feel so special. There’s just something about a baked good that brings people closer together!

Gift Guide for the Homebody

Well that was an unexpected hiatus! I started this week intending to do a million and one gift guides, but then I just didn’t. I don’t know if it’s because I started working out (#fitqueen) daily, but it just didn’t happen. I so appreciate y’all giving me the time though! Life update: I haven’t finished decorating my Christmas tree either. Apparently, I wasn’t close to finishing at all!  Are you finished decorating your tree yet? I also haven’t sent out my Christmas Cards- they get here Monday, but I’m so ready to get them out to my friends and family!
