There are some things that just can’t wait! Me. I CAN’T EVER WAIT! EVER! This is why, I’ve decided to bring you a new series called: the Mini-Blog! Styling and carrying out a whole shoot for a blog post sometimes isn’t the fastest or easiest thing to do whenever I feel inspired or am EXPLODING (common terminology for me to express extreme feelings!) with excitement about something I need to share.
Today’s mini Blog item/topic is: this leopard Apple Watch band. Things to know about me: I’ve ALWAYS been a watch girl (If I could do a video montage of myself in the past until now featuring my many many watches, I totally would…maybe one day). I loved the big gaudy watches with all the rhinestones and colored faces. The more gaudy, the better! Now, I’m not knocking that at all- NEVER! I still crave watches, but circa 2014 I got my first Fitbit, and my smart watch craze began.

Black Skinnies.Sweater (only available in Plus).Sweater, I’m Loving. Leopard Watch Band.
At this time, my boyfriend (now husband) would ask me over and over again if I wanted an Apple Watch. I always said no. What about my new delicate Kate Spade watch with the gold leather band? How could I abandon my faithful Fossil tortoise shell watch that accompanied me all through my years at UT? It was a HARD NO. However, one of the many reasons why I love that guy is because he hardly ever listens to me. For my 25th birthday, I opened a beautiful, gold series 2 Apple Watch (38 mm) with the navy blue silicone strap. GORGEOUS. I was in love.
I like to workout. I like to think I like working out. The Apple Watch has a million and one features, but tracking my workouts is probably my fave because I can monitor my slow/non-existent progress (I’m anti-regression, at best). The problem was, every morning, as I crawled and crept out of bed to put on work-out clothes, I’d also have to change my apple watch band from my sleek gold mesh band to my silicone band. It was annoying.
I LOVE THIS BAND. I’ve had it a week, but I’m in love. As you’ve previously read, I truly believe that leopard is a neutral. That is why I feel like this band is perfect for the fall and winter. It stands out in all the best ways! I’ve gotten endless compliments on my updated watch band, and feel like it’ll be something to make you feel a little more fashionable during your workout/day without the worry of having to switch out bands. Not to mention this baby is under $12. Treat yo’ self this Tuesday, girl. If you have any questions, send them my way!! Hope you enjoyed this not-so-mini” Mini Blog!
