Happy Birthday, Addie Baby! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!
Oops. Did I really go 6 months without a post to the blog? Maybe. I’ll never stop posting here completely though because it is such a good resource for y’all. For example, documenting EVERYTHING I used or purchased for Addie’s first birthday party! Her theme was “Pastel Carnival Chic” as my friend titled it. Basically, I couldn’t make up my mind. I loved a carousel theme, but couldn’t think of much more than flowers and horses. I loved carnival and circus, but didn’t want “clowns” anywhere near the party. So, I settled somewhere in the middle of all three.
True Story: I got SO SICK after Addie’s bday party. Deathly. I hate to say (again) that I had big plans to share everything way sooner, but it’s true. Life seems to always have other plans though. Right now, my girl and her dad are having an afternoon snooze. I’m going to take that time to write this post. Honestly, it will mostly be pics and links, which is the most helpful part, right?Almost everything is from Amazon and will be linked on my “party” idea list!
Outfits:
Addie had two different outfits because I had a HUGE feat that hers would be ruined after her cake smash. Luckily, neither were and we were able to use both for party day. Excessive? Yes, 100%. Wrong? I don’t think so. I mean, look at the pictures!
Decor:
This was the most exciting thing to shop for! We have a huge family, so our party was pretty huge, so I knew I had to go to amazon for most of the items to get them in bulk!
Party Bags:
I actually shot content for this- and just remembered. I might still share that later. My goal for the party bags was- fun! Sugar, chips and Mexican candy (obvi) are staples, but I really wanted to make sure that kids Addie’s age were able to play with the little items in the bags as well. Bubbles, Pop its, and play-doh were the stars of the show. All things that Addie loves!
