It wasn’t until yesterday that I realized that Thanksgiving is right around the corner! I’m not ready for a 5k that my family will be doing the day before the big day- we’re calling it a Huffin’ for the Stuffin’ instead of a Turkey Trot because it’s MUCH LESS graceful, ha! I am ready for the cooking and the eating though! I definitely come from one of those families that gets dressed up to sit in the living room, so I already have my outfit set! I’ll probably be wearing this dress with some heels and a headband (a la Blair Waldorf) since I never got to wear the dress out! Lucky for y’all it’s available again in some sizes! Some of y’all may be putting the finishing touches on your outfits or are just looking for a cute top to pair with leggings, so I rounded up my Thanksgiving 2020 Outfit Ideas! I got some casual dresses and some fancier ones also- I KNOW some of y’all are taking full advantage of the holiday!
This post is separated this into three separate parts: Dresses, tops, and bottoms. I love to wear dresses because they are simple and not constricting on my stomach, haha! Of course, the look I’m wearing today is perfect for a casual and maybe smaller thanksgiving luncheon. You can get this exact top from the Plus Size shop at The Fashion Market! I typically am size L or XL and the 1x was perfect! Check out their shop for the cutest boutique finds AND use my code:

for 25% off your order! Their pieces are on trend and so unique! I’ll be sharing more of their pieces soon!
Dresses
I love jewel tones for the fall and winter time. It may be because I’m typically such a sucker for bright colors. This burnt orange leather dress is so gorgeous and would be such a good way to incorporate the faux leather trend that is everywhere right now! Which of these pieces would you wear?
Tops
I went a little more neutral for my picks for tops. I’m assuming that if this is the route you’re going, you’re probably wearing jeans or leggings. My favorite piece would have to be this cropped cardigan from Forever 21 because…PEARL BUTTONS! Yaaaaas!
Bottoms
I really need to start exploring the Plus Size section for these types of bottoms because I always have issues because the length of my torso and width of my hips just don’t play well together! I love this faux leather pleated skirt and have seen many versions of it before. While it may not be the best option for feasting- it’s rullll cute! Also, every person needs a leopard midi skirt in their closet- it’s a must have!
I love taking advantage of the holidays to dress up a little bit more than usual! As you know, I love any little reason to go shopping! What are you and your family doing for Thanksgiving? Different plans than usual or same old, same old?
Love & Turkey,
Aly
