Christmas in July with Basic Invite

Does this summer have anyone else ready for the Holiday Season? This past week has been a lot harder than I expected (is it just me?), so I’m looking for a little more joy and holiday joy is just what I need! I am notorious for always being late with my holiday cards, so I’ve already been brainstorming by checking out what Basic Invite has to offer. It’s like celebrating Christmas in July!

My mom was the best at getting christmas cards together every year without fail. She was always so careful to make sure the wording was perfect and relayed a warm message.  Since I always struggle to get my cards together ahead of time, I figured I can start checking them out now and making a plan to take pictures in October or November. I know that sounds crazy, but you have to remember that December is always SO CRAZY! There are Christmas Plays, Graduations, Christmas Luncheons and Christmas Parties! Now, I can only hope that this year will be the same, so I’m going to plan for the Holiday season I want to see happen!

I’m sharing this past year’s Christmas pictures with y’all. Unfortunately, I didn’t get these out before Christmas (notoriously late, I tell ya!). I also was not 100% pleased with how the card came out, so I am so excited to look into Basic Invite’s Christmas Cards this year! I am also going to look into ordering samples before sending out my cards so I can guarantee that I love what I’m sending out to my friends and family. I think it will be especially important this year since we haven’t gotten to enjoy each other’s company as much this year.

I know that christmas party invitations may not necessarily be in high demand this year, but we can only hope that we may be able to have some small get togethers. I’ve always wanted to do a cookie swap and sending a cute invite in the mail (I LOVE SNAIL MAIL, if this post hasn’t hinted at that enough!) would maybe motivate me to stay committed to the event, haha!
