Can y’all believe that Friday is here?! This week flew by! I feel like the week started off so slow since I didn’t have to work on Monday and then it went back to 150 mph. This weekend, we’ll be celebrating my nieces’ and nephew’s birthday and I am hoping to finish up some organizing that I started over the break! I did a lot of downsizing! Something I also did over the break was try a new local restaurant: Maison Stivalent! I had been waiting so long to pay this spot a visit and I was not disappointed!
I definitely did not get the full experience of this restaurant since I only ordered a salad, appetizer, macarons, and a DELICIOUS spritzer, but I had a great experience so far. Before I get into the yumminess, I have to say that I’m looking forward to trying the brunch menu, which is available on Sundays (Anyone else a HUGE fan of chicken and waffles?).
I met up with a friend of mine from high school for drinks and *maybe dinner. She ordered a mimosa for dinner, which was so fun! Seeing a blueberry in her drink really made me want to try the Fruit Spritzer, which is what I have in the pictures! This DRINK was AMAZING! I don’t really drink much because it bloats me, but this drink was light and the fruit was delicious and had a lot of variety! If you’re not sure what to order for a drink (I get really over whelmed by fancy drinks- I mostly drink margaritas, haha) you won’t go wrong with this one!
Y’all know I’m a fan of a charcuterie board, so it was a no-brainer to order this one! There was a good variety of meats and cheeses on the board and some toast to serve on! There was also a delicious (apricot?) jelly that I loved pairing with cheese! YUM!
Like I said, we were just getting drinks and some apps, but since we really wanted to try another plate from the restaurant, we got the Watermelon Salad with shrimp. I personally love watermelon, so that kind of drew my attention to this salad! I don’t actually like tomatoes, but I loved the combination was flawless!
So I previewed this outfit for y’all the night that I went out, but wanted to share that this blouseis still available (in limited sizes) for $15! It’s a gorgeous top and adds a fun sparkle to an easy look!
This review definitely scratched the surface of how yummy this restaurant is, but I know that I will be returning soon! Whether it’s for sweets, eats, or drinks there is so much to explore at this fun spot! Have you visited yet? What was your order? Have a great weekend, lovelies!
