Time always seems to be the one thing that gets away from us. With all of the advances that technology brings us, there are of course the negative effects of relying on an item that has a definite expiration date. While I love my Apple Watch, I’ve been searching for a more classic timepiece that is more appropriate for dressier events and instances where I may be without the luxury of using multiple charging outlets (HUGE first world problem, I know!). 
I was so excited to partner with JORD to show you one of their beautiful wooden timepieces and how I styled it before my sister’s birthday dinner. I personally love the ebony wood watch (although the Cassia is quite beautiful in the lighter tones as well). and how it’s perfect for work attire and a night out, like what I used it for! I love how it isn’t bulky like my Apple Watch, but still makes quite the statement on my wrist.
