Lancôme’s Iconic 5 Products

If you would’ve told me one year ago that I would be typing this post up today, I’d think you were crazy!  It’s hard for me to even believe that I have my first official blogger event under my belt.  To KNOW that this event was with beauty GIANT Lancôme is the  cherry strawberry (I don’t like cherries, ha) on top of a dream sundae!

Growing up, I knew only one thing about Lancôme: It’s the best. I remember my mom sharing the little eye shadow quads with me and how regal the black and gold packaging looked with the beautiful and distinguishing rose. So gorgeous. In adulthood, I had yet to experience 4 of “Iconic 5” products that are considered the holy grails of Lancôme. When I got an e-mail inviting me to the event of a lifetime, I knew I HAD TO go!

I could go on and on about how gorgeous the event was, but I would probably not get a chance to talk about my experiences with the Iconic 5! It was an absolute dream! I’ll let the pictures tell that story and I’ll tell you all about the Iconic 5!

The Iconic 5

.Absolue Revitalizing & Brightening Soft Cream.

This absolutely incredible cream is made from Lancôme’s personal rose. Yes, they have their own ROSE! For one week, my husband has felt compelled to tell me that I “smell nice” before we go to bed and this is THE REASON why.  A little goes a LONG WAY and my skin has been so soft ever since I’ve started using it.

.Advanced Génifique Serum.

This serum boasts VISIBLE changes in one week’s time, but I’m here to report that after only four days my mom asked me, “what did you do to your face? It’s glowing!” I love a serum and am not currently committed to one and if this one is able to make a difference in four days, I can’t imagine what it’ll do in four months or four years!

.Monsieur Big Mascara. & .Cils Booster.

While the Definicils Defining and Lengthening Mascara is the actual member of the Iconic 5 , the Monsieur Big mascara has been a consistent favorite of mine for the past few years! We were offered a travel size (which now lives in my purse!) and a travel size of the Cils booster. I actually tried the Cils booster for the first time and WOW! WOW! WOW! I am lucky to have lashes that are naturally pretty voluminous, but with this Cils booster, I don’t even have to think about buying fake lashes again! LASHES FA DAYS! Plus, while at the event, we were taught that you only need to use ONE PUMP of mascara with this formula/brush combo! I’ll preview that for y’all sooooon!

.La vie est Belle Eau de Parfum.

The sweet, Robert Cook, who is a make-up artist for Lancôme, shared with us how using specific scents for special moments can create a memory in your mind and take you back there at a later date. I did this with my wedding perfume, and feel like I will do the same with the La vie est Belle Parfum en Rose. The travel bottle has been in my purse and is so different from my normal scents that I know it will always remind me of my first months as a blogger and my first blogger event!

.Tient Idole Ultra 24H Long Wear Foundation.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST is the product that I have yet to try and will get to try WITH YOU! Lancôme also boasts one of the most accurate skin-matching tools in the beauty industry. As a pale princess, I am so excited to try this technology out to get a foundation that is not too yellow or too orange for me! You have until June 2nd for this offer and I HIGHLY recommend you do!
