Weekend Pajama Party!

Somehow Friday can never come soon enough! In case you don’t know, I am a school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP, for short)!  As much as I LOVE my job, I LOVE getting to curl up after a long week and watch a movie on Friday nights! A friend of mine has always had the cutest jammies. All through grad school, at conferences, and my bachelorette party, this girl made every hotel room her runway with the cutest pajamas! In truth, she was my inspiration to feel my most beautiful when I want to feel my most comfortable.

During one of our weekly adventures to Target (if this isn’t a thing for you, you NEED to make it a thing!) my husband and I stopped to browse Target’s extensive pajama section. As I ran my fingers over the most buttery fabrics and read the cheekiest sayings on sleepy-time tanks, my husband laughed and said, “Aly, you don’t need that, you know you love big T-shirts!” Excuse me?!  I mean, he’s right. I LIVE for a big T-shirt. But a big T-shirt DOES NOT give you that pampered feeling the way a cutie pajama set does! Sure, my drawers are abounding with big T-shirts, BUT I truly believe that a pajama set can catapult your FriDAY into a Fri-YAY! Since that day, I have designated myself a pajama drawer- a real one- with colorful jammies that make me feel great even when my day my week, my month, or even my YEAR (anyone binging on “Friends” right now?!) haven’t been so great. I thought I’d share with y’all some of my absolute favorites right now. These jammies are from Target, around $20 and last a lifetime! I have this pink set with black piping since grad school and still wear the bottoms to death!  What are you doing this weekend? Movies…Brunch…Ice Cream?!
